My name is Catherine and am pleasured to welcome you during your stay at Ô Village. I look forward to sharing moments of conviviality with you throughout your stay. If you like to discover authentic places around the region, then we share a common interest! Perhaps you guessed it when discovering the PARIS SHANGHAI Suite on this website, I have travelled a lot in my lifetime. In fact, I lived in China for more than 20 years. I worked for Air France in 1998 when the first PARIS-SHANGHAI flights opened. Originally from the Loire Valley, then married to a Canadian, we lived in Alberta for a few years, and back in France for the holidays, I discovered the Aude and its breathtaking natural landscapes. Every summer, I came back to this beautiful region where my parents decided to retire. I have already cycled through part of the Canal du Midi. Now that I am permanently settled in Ouveillan, a charming little village located on a hill, two kilometers from the Canal, I intend to cycle the rest of the route that connects the Atlantic to the Mediterranean by bike... Explorer at heart, it's a real pleasure for me to meet other people who also like to discover new horizons.

The house was built in 1875. At that time, the village of Ouveillan was becoming more and more populated, and the locals decided to create a new place where the villagers could gather. This is how Place Carnot, known as Place du Marché, appeared. This new space, below the church was therefore outside the heart of the village at the time of its construction. It was then that the street now called Boulevard Gambetta was built, and the house now takes its place at the street’s corner. At the time, the building extended to the corner of Rue du Parc. It was most likely a Winegrowers' house. In 2019, we fell in love with this Languedoc house with its large rooms, high ceilings and pictorial staircase. Renovated in 2020 to become a Guest House, it is composed of 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms reserved for visitors.

By car:
Ouveillan is located between Narbonne (Aude) and Béziers (Hérault) on the departmental road D13.  when taking the A9 motorway, exit at 'Exit 36 ​​BEZIERS OUEST' or 'Exit 37 NARBONNE EST'.

By train:
- Narbonne is 4h15 from PARIS (Paris-Gare de Lyon) train station and 5h35 from PARIS Charles De Gaulle airport
- Narbonne is 2 hours from BARCELONA station (Spain)
When arriving at Narbonne train station, several car rental companies are at your disposal. Ouveillan is then 15 minutes from Narbonne station by car.
